A young Jewish gay man relocates to San Francisco and reasons that he is bound to find companionship if he becomes a member of a Temple known to welcome the gay community.

At the first Shabbat service he attends, he is approached by a beautiful looking blonde gentleman who engages him in conversation, at the conclusion of which the blonde gentleman told him he looks forward to seeing him at the next week's services.

The new member is beside himself to think that he was that lucky to strike up a relationship the first time around.

At the following week's service, he spots the blonde gentleman and sits beside him. Midway through the service, he places his hand on the blonde gentleman's knee to show his interest.

He feels a tap on his shoulder and one of the ushers asks him to step outside where he is told summarily that the Congregation would not be happy about him fooling around with the "Rebbitzen".
