Fershtayn Yiddish

Mrs. Goldshteyn  approached a man at a bus stop in Brooklyn. She tugged on the sleeve of his coat and asked, "Fershtayn Yiddish?"
The man answered, "Ya, ich fershtay."
Says Mrs. Goldshteyn, "Gut. Vot time is it?"
